The Steyr Arms SSG 08 is an extremely accurate bolt action rifle with detachable magazine and foldable high-strength aluminium stock. Due to the foldable stock it can be transported very comfortably. The cheek piece and the butt plate can be adjusted to meet the shooter‘s individual requirements. The bipod and the telescopic butt spike ensure a stable firing position. The ergonomic pistol grip can be customized to the user‘s hand. The new designed muzzle break reduces the recoil of the rifle and accepts quick attachable silencers. The receiver features an integrated Picatinny rail for scope mounting. Additional Picatinny rails are also fixed on the fore-end of the stock for quick and secure mounting of additional sighting devices.
