For most imports, especially regulated or specialist items, there are multiple unavoidable charges throughout the process. These can include US domestic shipping, international courier fees, export handling, customs processing, VAT, import duty, insurance, currency conversion costs, and UK clearance charges. Shipping costs in particular can often be surprisingly high, even for relatively small items.

There is also a significant amount of administration and compliance work involved behind the scenes. We manage supplier liaison, export checks, customs paperwork, import declarations, secure handling, and all of the coordination required to move products legally and safely from the USA to the UK.
