The Silent Steel Gen 1 5-Prong QD Flash Hider is a suppressor mounting muzzle device, multicaliber compatible with a bullet channel of 11mm. The prongs are connected to each other at the muzzle of the flash hider, making them significantly stronger and eliminating any risk of bending. The monolithic prong design also prevents prong ping under fire — a common issue associated with prong-type flash hiders.

The taper at the front of the thread ensures solid lockup with minimal and repeatable point of impact shift, whilst also effectively blocking fouling from entering the mounting surfaces.

The heat-resistant O-ring behind the thread secures the suppressor tightly on the flash hider, ensuring it will not loosen during use. The O-ring has a peak temperature resistance of 400°C. In independent testing, the muzzle device reached 280°C after six consecutive 30-round magazines through an AR-15 equipped with a 5.56 Compact Streamer.
