3 PIECE RAIL SYSTEM: Handguard 13.25" long + heat shield + 11" long picatinny rail with integrated peep sight rear cutout (to use the factory peep sight that came on your rifle).

The Handguard (6.2 oz) + Heat Shield (1.52 oz) + Picatinny Rail (3 oz) weighs in total 11 oz or .6875 lbs.

Full Length Picatinny Rail (44 Mag, 357 Mag, 45 Colt)

This rail is drilled and tapped for the smaller frame S&W. The 45-70 Govt larger frame needs a different rail.
