The Cadex Defence CDX-SS SEVEN S.T.A.R.S. PRO is the latest addition to their growing line-up of products intended for PRS shooting. It is the ultimate rifle for professional shooters aiming for the championship, as much as for persevering amateurs dreaming of podiums at regional matches.
The CDX-SS PRO combines the SEVEN S.T.A.R.S. (Sport and Tactical Application Rifle System) action with the STRIKE PRO chassis and legendary Bartlein® 5R single-point cut technology barrel. The CDX-SS SEVEN S.T.A.R.S. PRO delivers amazing accuracy right out of the box and is packed with all features needed for positional shooting games where every second matters. Engineered to reliably ignite small and large rifle primers, it is available in most top-performing Open and Tactical class short action calibers as well as in 223 Rem for affordable training.
This competition rifle features a 17 in. long built-in Arca Elite System (AES) rail, 10 M-LOK mounting slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, a centre-of-balance barricade stop, the PRO folding tool-free adjustable rear stock, a multi-position adjustable trigger guard, tuneable height ambidextrous extended magazine latch to ensure perfect feeding and rubberised vertical grip. Popular optional items such as M-LOK weights, right/left thumb rest, and full-length night vision bridge can be purchased separately.
All Cadex rifles come in the Hybrid Grey/Black Cerakote (pictured) as standard. However, we can arrange for your rifle to be Cerakoted in a colour scheme of your choice.
MX2 Tactical Muzzle Brake
Includes a MX2 Tactical Self-Timing Muzzle Brake that is ready to accommodate a moderator.
Cadex DX2 Evo Trigger
The Cadex DX2 Evo Straight Shoe Trigger is a double stage trigger capable of being rapidly converted into single stage. Its pull weight can be easily adjusted between 1.5 and 2.5 lbs. If you haven’t figured out if you prefer a single stage or double stage trigger then you can’t go wrong with the DX2 Evo.
Barrel
In order for Cadex to offer the best extreme long range sub-MOA precision rifle, we selected Bartlein Barrels. Teamed with our Cadex designed 1.238” heavy barrel straight taper with barrel band and threaded muzzle for slip on suppressor or muzzle brake. All Cadex barrels are 5R Mil-Spec Match Grade Single point-cut rifling with an optimised twist rate.
Folding Stock
Reverse folding butt stock offers bolt handle protection and ultra compact transport. It features a rattle free locking mechanism using an offset cam to remove any free play.
Fluted Bolt
Spiral fluted 3-lug bolt with 60° throw.
Material: Stainless 416
Adjustable Stock
Tool-free adjustable butt pad, length-of-pull and cheekrest.
Trigger Guard
Oversized trigger guard and magazine release for easy manipulation with gloves.
Adjustable Grip
The vertical grip is adjustable forward and rearward for maximum ergonomics.
