Cadex Defence CDX-R7 SPTR
A precision hunting rifle built around a traditional stainless sporter-profile barrel.
The CDX-R7 SPTR shares the proven hunting chassis and four-lug 50-degree action of the CRBN while using fluted stainless sporter-profile barrels. Select one of fourteen documented calibre and barrel configurations and one of 21 current Cadex Cerakote finishes. Battleworn finishes are excluded.

Published dimensions exclude the muzzle brake. Final weight can vary slightly with calibre and component choices.
Hunting chassis
- Oversized trigger guard and magazine release for gloved use.
- DSSF 3.055-inch short-action and SSSF 3.715/3.850-inch long-action AICS magazine formats.
- Rubberised grip insert, front and rear sling studs and neoprene cheek pad.
- Cadex recoil pad and fore-end inserts for sporter and heavy barrels.

Hard case included
Cadex Hunter Series hard case with foam is included with the rifle.
Hunting muzzle brake
A Cadex hunting-style muzzle brake is included.
Sporter-profile barrel
A fluted stainless sporter-profile barrel reduces weight and aids cooling. Exact configurations use Cadex or Bartlein barrels as listed.
Aluminium bedding blocks
Integral aluminium bedding blocks; no separate bedding is required.
Action rail
Available in 0, 20 or 30 MOA with an integrated recoil-groove location system.
Four-lug action
Spiral-fluted stainless 416 bolt with a 50-degree throw.
Hunting bolt knob
Low-profile, slim round hunting bolt knob.
DX2 Evo trigger
Convertible double/single-stage straight-shoe trigger, adjustable from 1.5 to 2.5 lb.
Hunting stock
Cadex recoil pad and neoprene cheek pad.
Rubberised grip
Rubberised grip insert for controlled handling.
Glove-friendly controls
Oversized trigger guard and magazine release for manipulation with gloves.
Available Cadex colours
Hybrid finishes combine a black receiver, bolt and barrel with the selected chassis colour. Images are manufacturer-supplied representative views.
