Cadex Defence CDX-50 TREMOR
A military-spec extreme-range repeater available in 416 Barrett and 50 BMG.
Five exact repeating-action configurations and 21 Cadex Cerakote finishes are selectable. The separately listed CDX-50SS single-shot configuration, TREMOR TAC and Battleworn finishes are not listed.
Compatibility chart and specifications
The model-specific Cadex compatibility chart identifies the CDX-50 action as four-lug with a 50-degree bolt throw. Dimensions exclude the muzzle brake; final weight can vary with calibre and components.

Features and included equipment
MX1 muzzle brake
The included MX1 muzzle brake is fitted to the threaded barrel.
V-shaped bedding
The V-shaped bedding system holds the action securely within the chassis.
Mirage-control tube
The mirage-control tube reduces sight-picture distortion caused by heat rising from the barrel.
Military-spec receiver
The dedicated TREMOR receiver houses the rifle’s extreme-range four-lug action.
Four-lug action
The four-lug bolt has a short 50° throw.
Interchangeable bolt knobs
Round and tactical bolt knobs are supplied as an interchangeable set.
Bartlein match barrel
A fluted Bartlein match barrel is fitted, with length and twist determined by configuration.
Cadex DX2 Evo trigger
The DX2 Evo trigger can be set for single- or double-stage operation.
Adjustable folding stock
The reverse-folding stock adjusts for length of pull, cheekpiece and recoil-pad height.
Detachable base
The detachable aluminium base provides trigger access for maintenance and adjustment while preserving the platform’s zero.
Cadex grip
The rubberised Cadex grip has moulded finger grooves.
Glove-friendly controls
The oversized trigger guard provides clearance for gloved hands.
Available Cadex colours
Hybrid finishes combine black metalwork with the selected chassis colour. Cadex currently exposes exact CDX-50 views for nine finishes; the remaining selector images are official Cadex representative finish views.
