Cadex Defence CDX-40 SHDW
An extreme-long-range repeating rifle for 375 EnABELR, 375 CT and 408 CT.
Seven exact repeating-action dealer configurations and 21 Cadex Cerakote finishes are selectable. The separately listed CDX-40SS single-shot configurations and Battleworn finishes are excluded.
Compatibility chart and specifications
Dimensions exclude the muzzle brake. Approximate final weight can vary with calibre and components. The 29-inch 408 CT dealer configuration uses the dealer-list 1:13 twist specification.
Dual Strike chassis and XL action
- Heavy-duty stainless-steel XL repeating action with three-lug, 60-degree bolt.
- Fully adjustable reverse-folding stock and proprietary seven-round magazine.
- Interchangeable 20, 40 or 60 MOA full-length rail.
- Bartlein match barrel and included MX1 muzzle brake.
Features and included equipment
MX1 muzzle brake
The included MX1 muzzle brake is fitted at the threaded muzzle.
V-shaped bedding
The V-shaped bedding system holds the action securely within the chassis.
Mirage-control fore-end
The heavy-duty fore-end provides accessory-rail positions at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.
Three-lug action
The three-lug bolt has a short 60° throw.
Interchangeable bolt knobs
Round and tactical bolt knobs are supplied as an interchangeable set.
Bartlein match barrel
A Bartlein match barrel is fitted, with length and twist determined by configuration.
Cadex DX2 Evo trigger
The DX2 Evo trigger can be set for single- or double-stage operation.
Adjustable folding stock
The reverse-folding stock adjusts for length of pull, cheekpiece and recoil-pad height.
Detachable base
The detachable aluminium base provides trigger access for maintenance and adjustment while preserving the platform’s zero.
Cadex grip
The rubberised Cadex grip has moulded finger grooves.
Glove-friendly controls
The oversized trigger guard and adjacent controls are designed for use with gloves.
