This Marlin 1894 CB in .44 Magnum is in good condition for its age and is in perfect working order, but it has a few age and use-related marks on the wood and receiver. It has a 23.5" tapered octagonal barrel and ballard-style rifling. It looks the part for the open range but beneath the richly blued finish and classic walnut stock & fore-end is the receiver of a precision-tuned modern firearm. It has a ten-shot tubular magazine and the receiver has a Weaver rail for mounting an optic. It does not have the original front sight but does have the rear sight.
